I have a skit idea. I'm thinking of a "That which you do unto the least of these, you do unto (Jesus)" skit.

Cast & Costume:
-Christian (casual clothing)
-Homeless Person #1 (ragged clothing)
-Homeless Person #2 (worn clothing)
-Jesus (white robe, sandals)
-Stage Hand(s) (All Black)

Character Props:
-Delabelled Tin Can
-Guitar and Hard Case
-Sandwich

Stage Props:
-Spot Light/ Small Shop Light
-Extension Cords, Power bar w/switch
-Brick Wall
-Bench
-Chair

*Scene #1 (Homeless Person #1 crouching beside building with Tin Can in hand [Center Stage]. Homeless Person #2 sitting cross-legged on Bench with Guitar, Hard Case open in front of him [Stage Left].)
(Christian enter stage left, passes Homeless Person #2, comes across Homeless Person #1)

Homeless Person #1: (weakly) I'm soo hungry... could you spare some change?

Christian: (muttering, avoiding gaze) Uhh, sorry, I got nothin' (Exit stage right) (Lights fade)


*Scene #2 (Christian is sitting at home with head down, praying-- Jesus standing in front of him.)

(Christian looks up, startled; until he realizes it is Jesus, at which point he bows down.)

Christian : Jesus! I worship you!

Jesus: Then why did you not keep my commandment to love your neighbour as yourself?

Christian: I do Lord: I encourage my brothers and sisters at church, I honor my parents and my boss, and I do what my pastors tell me to do!

Jesus: Would you leave yourself hungry on the side of the road?

Christian: No. (looking a little sheepish as he begins to realize what he is talking about. He lowers his head.) Jesus, please forgive me.

Jesus: You are forgiven. (Exit stage left)

Christian: I'm just so afraid to... (raises his head to see that Jesus is gone. Lowers his head back down, then stands up with resolve and heads for the door) (Exit stage right) (Lights Fade)


*Scene#3 (Homeless Person #1 slumped against a building, motionless, Tin Can on ground beside lifeless hand[stage right. Homeless Person #2 sitting cross-legged on bench with Guitar, Hard Case in front of him [center stage].)
(Christian enter stage right with sandwich in hand, tries to give sandwich to Homeless Person #1, shakes shoulder, realizes he's dead. After short repentance/mourning, walks to Homeless Person #2, gives sandwich and begins to minister in Pantomime.) (Lights Fade)

Thats it. I figure it will show that if you miss it, there could be consequences, but that there will always be another person to minister to.I think this one would be good for evangelistic training.God bless!Gary
